SMA Relief Foundation is a dedicated non-profit organisation committed to supporting children and families affected by Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) — a rare, progressive genetic neuromuscular disease that weakens muscles and affects a child’s ability to move, eat, and breathe. SMA is one of the leading genetic causes of infant mortality and places immense emotional, physical, and financial strain on families.
We exist to ensure that no family faces SMA alone. Our foundation works across India to provide critical access to life-saving medicines, ongoing medical care, therapy support, and community resources. Through advocacy, fundraising, and public awareness, we aim to transform the SMA journey from fear and uncertainty to hope and resilience.
